In a few days we will be celebrating a special and important day, Mother’s Day. To accompany your meal we recommend Le Sancerre Blanc Apud Sariacum. With a beautiful intensity on the nose, lively and fruity (citrus) on the palate, it will go perfectly with the following dishes:
Starters: as an aperitif, with seafood such as oysters, a cold beetroot and feta soup or with a salmon / avocado and melon tartare.
The dishes: Fresh tagliatelle with salmon and green asparagus, spinach and goat cheese lasagna, a chicken and vegetable curry or a vegetable flan
Cheeses: Creamy cheeses, such as goat’s cheese, or cow’s cheese, but also, with a fondue and raclette (and yes the good weather has not yet arrived …)
The desert: fruit tart, a strawberry plant.
For our veggie friends, we recommend it with an eggplant-tomato mille feuille, zucchini / candied tomato / avocado and apple verrines, a vegetable tart-style tian or a strawberry and raspberry cake without baking.
